The successors to the Vivo X200, X200 Pro Mini and Vivo X200 Pro will be officially unveiled in China on Monday, October 13, 2025. Thanks to the teasers that emerged over the past few weeks, many enthusiasts likely already know many details regarding the improvements and upgrades of the Vivo X300 series.
However, just a few hours before the launch event, Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station has provided highly detailed information on the specifications of the Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300. For the latter, there is also an official comparison of some technical data with the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, which the Vivo X300 will apparently succeed.

The leaked specifications are accompanied by numerous official Zeiss camera samples that we found on Vivo's various Weibo accounts. These are not the first photos from the new Zeiss-optimized camera, but they are intended to illustrate the cameras' strengths, particularly concerning the main camera's dynamic range and the quality of the 200-megapixel telephoto lens based on the new HPB sensor.
The flat 6.78-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display on the Vivo X300 Pro has a 1.5K resolution and bezels that are just only 1.1mm thick on all four sides according to the leaker. It’s based on a new BOE Q10+ panel and comes with a new ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Meanwhile, the Dimensity 9500 plus the V3+ and VS1 co-processors that are already known from the Vivo X200 Ultra are supposed to improve photos and videos as well as overall performance. According to previous tests, this MediaTek SoC is almost as quick as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Vivo has also teased a dual-UFS 4.1 controller, a 6,510mAh battery with 90W fast charging via USB-C 3.2 as well as wireless charging.
However, the highlight of the IP68/69-certified Vivo X300 Pro, which weighs 7.97 oz and is 0.31 inches thick, is likely the triple-camera setup. This system is based on a 1/1.28-inch 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor with an f/1.57 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a large 1/1.4-inch 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPB periscope telephoto lens with a Telemacro feature, 85mm focal length and an f/2.67 aperture. Zeiss once again utilizes the T* coating for the Vario-Apo-Summilux optics. In China, Beidou satellites are supported for emergency text messages.

Digital Chat Station also provided a final list of specifications for the Vivo X300. Vivo pair the Dimensity 9500 with a V3 chip but no VS1, along with a smaller, flat 6.31-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED from BOE. This also features the Q10+ panel, 1.05mm bezels and a new ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display.
The Vivo X300 weighs 6.7 oz and is just marginally thicker than the Pro model. The Chinese model variant also has a 6,040mAh battery, which can be charged at 90 watts via USB 3.2 as well as wirelessly. The Zeiss camera flagship is water- and dust-resistant according to IP68/69 and is equipped with a 200MP ISOCELL HPB with an f/1.68 aperture as the main camera. Additionally, there’s a 50MP ultra-wide and a 1/1.95-inch 50MP Sony LYT-602 70mm periscope telephoto lens with an f/2.57 aperture, which also includes the Telemacro function and Zeiss T* coating.
Vivo X300 will be an improved Vivo X200 Pro Mini
Vivo itself confirms that the Vivo X300 is not a direct successor to the Vivo X200 but rather to the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, as an official specs sheet is comparing it directly to the previous compact Zeiss camera flagship. This list compares some important specifications of the compact Pro Mini with the new Vivo X300.
In addition to support for the external 2.35x Zeiss teleconverter and the Zoom Flash feature from the Vivo X200 Ultra, shooting 4K at 120fps in Log is supported, which is a feature that’s also offered by the Vivo X300 Pro. Further upgrades can be found in the Zeiss APO telephoto optics, the 50 megapixel front camera, the battery and the display. Moreover, the Vivo X300 series launches with OriginOS 6, which is slated to replace FunTouchOS on global Vivo flagships in the future.
