If you want portability and decent performance on a tight budget, this 11.6in laptop delivers the goods. Netbooks are currently flooding the market, and you'd be forgiven for thinking they're the only option when it comes to small, portable computers. The inclusion of a Celeron 743 processor gives The Satellite Pro T110 a noticeable performance boost, but battery life is slightly disappointing.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500M: The graphics core of the Intel GL40 and GS40 chipset features a slower clocked GMA 4500MHD (400 versus 533 MHz). Because of the slower core speed, full Blu-Ray Logo support is not given and the gaming performance is a bit worse.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
Intel Celeron M: It is a Pentium M with halved level 2 Cache and limited on FSB 400. The characteristic of this processor is the speed, which is hardly slower than an equivalent Pentium M. However it can change the speed not dynamically like the Pentium M and therefore needs without load more current.
It is also available as Low Voltage Version with very small current consumption.
743: Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) processor for small and light subnotebooks. Does not support Speedstep (more power consumption in idle mode), 64 Bit, and Virtualization (VT-x).» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
This screen diagoal is quite large for tablets but small for subnotebooks. Some convertibles are also represented with that size.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
This weight is typical for very big tablets, subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles with a 11-13 inch display-diagonal.
