The Realme Q5 Pro appears on Geekbench with a Snapdragon processor and 8GB of RAM
Realme is expected to introduce its most unique and unusual brand-partnership with the Q5 series: one that makes the alleged new line's Pro variant into the first special edition with Vans styling. It is also said to launch with 80W charging, heretofore only seen in the GT Neo3, OnePlus 10 Pro, OPPO Find X5 series, Vivo X Note and iQOO Neo6 thus far.
It is also now rumored to debut with a Q5i variant. According to the leaker Bald Panda, this phone will not have a new and flashy charging standard, although it will have a generous 5,000mAh battery. It may be powered by the Dimensity 810 SoC and (oddly enough for 2022) have mere 13+2MP rear cameras.
Then again, this leak is not backed up by a corresponding Geekbench 5 entry. A device with the Q5 Pro's model number (RMX3372) has appeared on the benchmarking website with a chipset of the Qualcomm kona platform. They include the Snapdragon 865 and its variants: however, given the clockspeeds specified in the new “Q5 Pro” listings, it seems it will get the 870 instead.
Nevertheless, this is still a pretty powerful chip to pair with extra-fast charging. Accordingly, should the Q5 Pro launch as suggested in these leaks, it might help determine the choice of 80W smartphones that hit the global market in the near future.
