The Moto G8 Play leaks, revealing triple cameras and a waterdrop-notched screen
Motorola may be working on a Moto G7 Play successor as well as one for the G7 and G7 Plus. This new rumor has been started as a phone alleged to be the former has appeared on the website Tudocelular. It appears as live images of a phone that does resemble the "G8" that has featured in earlier leaks.
They show what may be retail units of the putative G8 Play, as the one with a front panel turned to the camera has a full-screen sticker on it displaying its main specs in clear, engaging graphics. According to this information, it will ship with 6.2-inch HD+ display, which has a waterdrop notch housing an 8MP selfie camera.
A 4000mAh battery, which will have some form of "rapid" charging, is also referenced in this image, as is a triple camera. The other G8 Play-related image shows a rear panel (bearing a barcode sticker) that appears to confirm this. According to its specs-rich screen plastic, one of them is a 117-degree wide-angle camera.
The 'Moto G8 Play' also apparently has a "2.0GHz octa-core processor"; however, the new leak fails to specify which one. It is speculated that it may be the MediaTek Helio P60, although this obviously cannot be confirmed yet. This putative phone is obviously far from a launch date; however, as its new leak originates from Brazil, it is possible that it will be sold in this region.
