MagyarSennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3: Specifications, colours and pricing details emerge ahead of April release
Last month, Sennheiser teased that it would release Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds in April, less than a year after it sold its consumer audio business to Sonova Holding AG. While Sennheiser has not revealed the earbuds yet, Lufthansa has through its WorldShop. It is unclear why Lufthansa WorldShop has listed the Momentum True Wireless 3 ahead of Sennheiser's official presentation, but the listings remain active at the time of writing.
For some reason, the three listings do not describe the earbuds' size nor how large their carry and charging case is. Seemingly, the latter is smaller than the one that Sennheiser includes with the Momentum True Wireless 2, though. Moreover, Lufthansa WorldShop describes the Momentum True Wireless 3 as including the following features:
- A2DP, AVRCP, HSP, HFP support
- Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC)
- ANC: Hybrid Adaptive ANC
- Bluetooth 5.2, Class 1
- Bluetooth codecs: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX Adaptive
- Built-in lithium-ion battery (charging time: up to 90 min.)
- Customisable touch buttons
- Frequency range: 5-21 kHz
- Power Supply: 5 V⎓, 1,000 mA max
- Qi wireless charging support
- Sennheiser Signature Sound thanks to Sennheiser TrueResponse converter system
- Sound pressure level: 107 dB
- Splash-proof (IP4X)
- Up to 7 hours runtime or 28 hours with charging case included
According to WorldShop, the Momentum True Wireless 3 will be available from May 10, 2022. However, that date may represent when they begin shipping, not when they will be announced. Incidentally, Lufthansa WorldShop allows people to order the earbuds in the EU, Switzerland and the UK, although we imagine that the earbuds will be available in more markets too. Currently, Lufthansa World Shop lists the Momentum True Wireless 3 for €249 in Black, Graphite and White. Presumably, this is the earbuds' launch price in the Eurozone and not a price specific to Lufthansa WorldShop.
