Sega releases gaming laptops with high specs and a classic Sega console finish.

Sega and Japanese retailer Ebten have collaborated together to infuse Sega's classic consoles into laptops.

These laptops provide the user with more than just visual appearances, but are also performance ready for gaming. Sega will be releasing four separate models,  each of which will have a 15 inch 1080p display.

Each laptop will have customizable and changeable skins. Sega will release 4 skins: The Sega Mega Drive(The Genesis), the Saturn, the Sega Blue, and the Dreamcast.

These laptops will have different options for the processor, storage space, memory (RAM), and video memory. Sega gives users options for 3 different processors from Intel.  The CPU choices are an Intel Pentium R2020M, Intel Core i3-3120M , and Intel Core i7-3630QM processors, listed from lowest to highest speed. For storage, Sega offers a 500GB HDD or a 120GB SSD. Its choices for memory are 4GB and 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM. The only other option versus the on-board Intel 4000 graphics is the NVIDIA GeForce GT650M 1GB.

Specific Sega featured software will be installed on these laptops such as a Windows Theme, wallpapers, icons, and music from Sega games. These products are limited edition and Sega plans on only releasing 50 units of each laptop. The prices range from $1,050.00 to $2,100.00 USD.

Sega is currently taking pre-orders from customers until March 26th, 2013. There has been no report on their actual release date, and they can only be purchased through a Japanese retailer.
