Several leaks have indicated that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will support the S Pen so as to subsume the Galaxy Note line in 2021. That may have led to some confusion over how the accessory will be deployed. A tipster claims to have solved this mystery ahead of the flagship's launch.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra is allegedly poised to gain S Pen support on its January 2021 launch. This ties in with other rumors that it could also replace a Note 21 in the same year. However, were that to be the case, it also might have had at least one render showing an S Pen silo.

Roland Quandt's blog WinFuture may have resolved this potential confusion with its latest Galaxy S21 leak. It includes details of first-party silicon case and Clear View Covers with inbuilt S Pen holders. These accessories might also ship with the requisite stylus.

Therefore, should this new report hold water, it might represent a new and potentially lucrative sales listing for Samsung. Unfortunately, there are also rumors they may join ones for new S21 chargers as an separate purchase.

It would be interesting to see if something similar is done with the Galaxy Z Fold3, or if it will become a more authentic Note replacement with its own S Pen silo.
