Today, (May 31, 2019) Creative unveils a new partnership with the Taiwanese PC-smiths Clevo. It will involve the integration of Super X-Fi technology into this manufacturer's notebooks in the future. Therefore, this platform will focus on headphone audio in Clevo machines.

Creative and Clevo have just announced a first-of-its-kind partnership to integrate the former's audio hardware into the latter's notebooks. Therefore, devices from the Taiwanese PC maker may come with the audio expert's chips in the future. These components will confer Super X-Fi for headphones on the machines.

"We are ecstatic to be able to work with Clevo, [who are] well known in the market to be always pursuing cutting edge technologies for their products", noted Lee Teck Chee, who is the vice president of engineering for, and also the inventor of, Super X-Fi, at the launch of this partnership. He went on to assert that users of the Clevo notebooks to come of this collaboration would experience enhanced realism during gaming or content-consumption while using headphones.

This partnership will include, but may not be limited to, the installation of the Super X-Fi UltraDSP chip into the Clevo laptops in question. Technology such as this won 15 Best of CES awards this year. The Clevo PCs to integrate it will also exhibit a Super X-Fi badge somewhere on their external surfaces.
