Samsung appears to be developing a new power bank with a company in China. A photo of the new accessory, referred to with model number EB-P3910, has appeared in a Korean safety certification filing. This and older images of the product indicate a few of its specifications.

A new power bank appears to be on the way from Samsung. An accessory referred to with product number EB-P3910 has appeared in a new filing at SafetyKorea. It states that the upcoming power bank has been certified by the Korea Testing & Research Institute for Chemical Industry (KTR), gaining the necessary KC certification mark.

The model name EB-P3910 suggests that this will be a wired power bank; the older 25W and 25W wired power banks have EB-P model numbers, while the wireless 25W version has an EB-U model number. The filing states that it is manufactured in China by SCUD (Fujian) Electronics, and an image shows a similar design to Samsung’s other power banks, with rounded edges at one end. The power bank is shown with a gray casing rather than the beige of the older power banks. Whether this is the final or only color is unclear.

Older images (below) attached to KTR filings linked to the same model number from within the last 12 months hint at other features. A power button and indicator light are shown, as well as a USB-C port. In the center is a cavity which appears to be designed to house the connector of a USB-C cable. Further details about the Samsung EB-P3910, such as its capacity and output power, remain unknown. It is also unclear when this new Samsung power bank will launch and at what price. For a rough guide, the older Samsung 25W 10,000 mAh Battery Pack is priced at $34.99.
