It looks as though Pulsar is planning to update its Crazylight wireless gaming mouse series with the Crazylight X3. If leaks are to be believed, the Crazylight X3 will be available in both left- and right-handed versions and in as many as 20 different colour variants.

Hot on the heels of the brand's recent Hall effect gaming keyboard launch, Pulsar is apparently planning for the imminent release of a CrazyLight version of its famous ergonomic gaming mouse, the X3. A recent FCC leak, shared on Reddit by u/manphalanges, shows off what is purportedly a Pulsar X3 CrazyLight and confirms that the ultra-light ergonomic mouse will be available as both a left-handed and right-handed model.

What to expect from the Pulsar X3 Crazylight

The details in the FCC certification leak are sparse, but it does confirm a number of things. First, it suggests that Pulsar may be planning a launch for the coming months or early 2026. Secondly, the new ultra-light gaming mouse will be available in a variety of variants, although what those variants will be is not specified. The FCC listing contains models of the X3 LHD CrazyLight ranging from PX3CL101–PX3LCL120 and PX3LCL201–PX3LCL220, with clarification that all models contain the same circuitry and antenna, with the model numbers being the only differentiator.

Since this is specifically the X3 CrazyLight LHD, it seems as though Pulsar may release the ergonomic gaming mouse in two different sizes with a selection of colour options available as different model numbers. Pulsar sells the regular X3 gaming mouse in both a mini and regular size, with the mini receiving the “size 1” differentiator and the regular version being labelled “size 2,” although the X3 Mini is notably lacking a LHD version, so the existence of two LHD models for the X3 CrazyLight LHD is likely a welcome surprise for a lot of left-handed mouse users looking for a lightweight ergonomic mouse.

That leaves a whopping 10 colour options for each version of the X3 CrazyLight, which would be a step above the five offered on the X3 CrazyLight. It may also be the case that the special edition influencer and esports collaboration colourways that made it to the X2 line up will make it to the X3 CrazyLight, as well.

The X3 CrazyLight will probably feature the same internals as the regular X3, meaning it will have the same 8 kHz polling rate, 30,000 DPI, Kailh optical switches, Pulsar Blue encoder, and XS-1 sensor. Compared to the regular X2 v3, the X2 CrazyLight cuts the weight by around 17 g, or around 33%, so if the same becomes true for the X3 CrazyLight, we can expect a weight of around 37 g, which is already plenty light, especially compared to mice like the Keychron M7 8K we recently reviewed. The cost of the X3 CrazyLight will also likely be higher than the regular X3 (curr. $99.95 on Amazon), since the X2 CrazyLight comes in at $129.95 — $30 more than its regular-weight counterpart.
