Casio’s new G-Shock x Foundation Surfrider Japan collaboration watch, the G-5600SFJ-9 has been confirmed for release in more European countries. First rumored in April 2025, this watch has since been released in various markets like the UK and Japan.
Casio recently listed the G-Shock G-5600SFJ-9 at its online stores in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. It will retail for €149 when it launches in July 2025. The company has yet to announce an exact launch date for the product, with users offered an email notification when the watch is released. The Casio G-5600SFJ-9 watch has a resin casing and strap, in a golden yellow hue with beige flecks; it is said to be inspired by “a beach bathed in morning sunlight”. It measures 46.7 x 43.2 x 12.7 mm (~1.8 x 1.7 x 0.5 inches) and weighs 47 g (~1.7 oz). This collaboration watch is shock resistant with 200 m water resistance and Tough Solar charging.
Features include support for up to five world time zones, a 1/100th second stopwatch, and a countdown timer with a 24 hour range. There are also five daily alarms, hourly time signals and an LED backlight allowing you to read the digital display in low lighting. On the display, you can view the time in your choice of 12 or 24 hour formats, as well as the date and weekday. Details of the possible release of the Casio G-Shock × Surfrider Foundation Japan G-5600SFJ-9 watch in the US have yet to be announced.
