Aohi has launched The Youth 65W GAN 3-Port Foldable Charger in the US. It joins other accessories in the The Youth series, like the 140W wall charger, which was released in April 2024 (curr. $52.99 at Amazon)
The Youth 65W Charger has three outputs: two USB-C ports and a USB-A port. When used alone, each USB-C port offers up to 65W output. According to Aohi, this output should allow you to charge a MacBook Air M3 to 50% in around half an hour. There is support for fast charging protocols like PD, PPS and Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0; the latter allows you to charge a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to 50% in 19 minutes at 45W. With all three ports in use, one USB-C provides a 45W output, while the other two ports share 15W.
The Youth's LED indicators show the charging status in real-time, and there is support for trickle charging. Plus, there is AOHICE 4.0 cooling technology and eight safety features to protect against issues like overheating and overvoltage. The company claims that its bright yellow accessory is 39% smaller than Apple’s 67W charger, with folding pins to make it more compact. It measures 71.5 x 43 x 35 mm (~2.8 x 1.7 x 1.4 inches).
You can now buy the Aohi The Youth 65W Wall Charger in the US for $39.99 (RRP $59.99), thanks to an introductory offer of $20 off. Plus, for seven days after the product’s launch, customers who purchase one unit will get a free USB-C to USB-C Silky Cable with their purchase, worth $19.99. If you buy two units of the accessory, you will get a free USB-C to USB-C Display Cable, worth $25.99. Whether or when this product will arrive in Europe remains to be seen.
