Cuktech CP6 launches as affordable fast charger with retractable cable

Cuktech has introduced a new charger in China, the CP6. One of the main highlights of the brick is the built-in retractable cable. The company says that it's 0.7 meters in length (around 2.3 feet) and has an easy-to-pull mechanism for hassle-free charging.

In addition to the built-in USB-C cable, this affordable charger has one USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port (6-feet Anker Nano 240 W USB-C cable curr. $17.99 on Amazon). This configuration allows the brick to power up three devices at the same time. As for the charging speed, the brick supports up to 67 W fast charging.

The company claims that the CP6 charger can get the Xiaomi 15 from 0% to 49% in just 15 minutes. With support for multiple charging protocols, it can power up a wide range of devices, including laptops and low-powered accessories like smartwatches and wireless earbuds.

Another highlight of the Cuktech CP6 charger is the two-way intelligent controller chip. It's said to keep the temperature in check to ensure stable and safe charging. Among the other highlights are a compact size and a travel-friendly design with a foldable plug.

When it comes to the price, this new affordable charger has a launch price tag of CNY 134 in China, around $19, and will be available from June 26, 2025. After the promotional phase, it will cost CNY 149, about $21. Cuktech hasn't shared anything on global availability and pricing yet, but the company generally brings most of its products outside the Chinese market.
