Minix has showcased two new mini PCs at Computex 2025: the ER936-AI and the ER937-AI. These brand-new systems are powered by the AMD Strix Point APUs, and among the two, it seems that the former will be the more affordable option than the other.
To be specific, the ER936-AI has the Ryzen AI 9 365, which is one of the top-end offerings in the Strix Point line. The Minix ER937-AI, on the other hand, packs the more capable AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, which features the better performing Radeon 890M iGPU instead of the Radeon 880M found in the former.
Besides the processors, all the other specs of the two new Minix mini PCs appear to be identical. That is, both systems are equipped with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5,600 MHz. They also feature 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD while having support for up to 8 TB of storage (4 TB WD_Black SN7100 curr. $249.99 on Amazon).
Per what Minix showcased at Computex 2025, it seems that the chassis of the two Strix Point mini PCs are identical as well. The housing of the two feature ventilation holes on the top and two USB Type-A and one USB Type-C on the front. Of course, the chassis of the ER937-AI demo mini PC does have a silver finish instead of the black finish that the ER936-AI sports.
Other than that, Minix highlights that the two new Strix Point mini PCs have WiFi 7, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, and support for quad-display output. The company hasn't revealed anything about pricing and availability yet, but given that the systems were showcased at Computex 2025, they are expected to launch soon.
