Limited Edition Cyberpunk Xbox One console inbound three months before the game itself
Microsoft has revealed what is likely the last limited-edition Xbox One X console to hit the market. The reason, of course, is that the all-new Xbox Series X console launch is scheduled for the holiday season leaving little time for any other potential entrants. In fact, it is a little bit surprising to see a limited-edition console launch at all, but it looks like Microsoft wants to send of the Xbox One X in style.
The new 1 TB Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Bundle will launch in June, which is actually three months before the eagerly anticipated game launches. You can expect CD Projekt Red’s delayed game to be included in the bundle with a download card which is quite the tease for those who can’t wait to get to start playing it. In addition to custom panels, the console will include laser etchings, a glow in the dark ‘No Future’ decal and what looks like a combination of blue and yellow LEDs.
Also included in the bundle is one of the coolest looking Xbox controllers that we have yet to see. The silver, black color and red scheme reflects Johnny Silverhand’s cyborg arm – Silverhand is, of course, played by Keanu Reeves and is one of the key drawcards of the game. There is no word on pricing at the time of writing but expect it to be priced north of US$400. If you don’t yet own an Xbox One X, it will certainly be a tempting proposition.
