Lenovo is introducing two new devices aimed at augmenting the modern classroom. The Lenovo 10w Tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 7c and is aimed at younger students with a focus on reliability. The Lenovo 13w Yoga is a more capable convertible powered by AMD Ryzen 5000-U series APUs and optional 4G LTE.

Lenovo is introducing new devices designed to augment learning experiences in the classroom. The Lenovo 10w tablet and the Lenovo 13w Yoga are designed for younger students and are built to cater to the vagaries of daily use both in the school and outside.

Lenovo 10w Tablet

The Lenovo 10w tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Compute Platform and runs Windows 11 on Snapdragon. The tablet can be configured with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to a 128 GB eMMC flash storage. The Lenovo 10w comes with a 10.1-inch 16:10 FHD IPS touch display that can attain 400 nits brightness. 

Lenovo has equipped the 10w tablet with a 2 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera. Port selection just includes a USB Type-C port and a headphone jack. Networking is provided by the Qualcomm WCN 3991 WLAN module. A 30 Whr battery powers the internals.

Lenovo 13w Yoga

For students who need more horsepower and connectivity options, Lenovo is offering the 13w Yoga convertible featuring AMD Ryzen 5000-U processors.

The Lenovo 13w Yoga offers a 13.3-inch 16:10 FHD display with a 300-nit brightness. Buyers can configure the 13w Yoga with up to Ryzen 7 processors, 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, up to a 512 GB PCIe SSD, and an optional fingerprint reader. The convertible includes a 1080p RGB front camera with privacy shutter and a 5 MP rear camera. 

Port selection includes 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, 1x HDMI 2.0-out, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, full-size SD card reader, and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack. Networking needs are catered to by a 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 card. Optionally, 4G LTE can be configured as well. A 51 Whr battery provides the required backup on the move.

The Lenovo 10w tablet will be available in an Abyss Blue color and weighs just 573 g for the tablet body and about 1.1 kg with the detachable keyboard. The device will be available from April 2022 at prices starting from US$329.

The Lenovo 13w Yoga will be available in a Thunder Black color option and weighs about 1.45 kg. The convertible will be available from April 2022 at prices starting from US$749.
