Alldocube Smile X: Budget tablet launched for US$149.99 with a 1200p display, Android 11 and expandable storage
Alldocube has started selling the Smile X, a budget Android tablet powered by a Unisoc Tiger T610 SoC. For reference, the Tiger T610 contains two ARM Cortex-A75 cores, six Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU running at 614 MHz.
Additionally, the Smile X has 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a 10.1-inch display. According to Alldocube, the display operates natively at 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, corresponding to a 16:10 aspect ratio. Also, the Smile X has two card slots for two SIM cards or a single SIM and a microSD card. Simultaneously dual SIM and microSD card connectivity is not possible, though.
The tablet supports Bluetooth 5.0 too, along with GPS and Android 11. It is unclear if Alldocube will release Android 12 for the Smile X, let alone Android 13 or 14. Moreover, the Smile X has two cameras, but only 2 MP and 5 MP sensors. Currently, the Smile X is available from Banggood for US$149.99 plus import duties and taxes.
