Jade-colored 8BitDo Ultimate 3-Mode controller for Xbox now available to buy with a launch discount

Back in March, 8BitDo announced that the 8BitDo Ultimate 3-mode Controller for Xbox will be available in a new Jade color option. The controller has been on pre-order since then but is now available to buy from Amazon, and it comes with a discount.

The 8BitDo Ultimate 3-mode Controller for Xbox originally costs $69.99, but now that it is available to buy, Amazon is offering a 10% discount that brings the price down to $63.11. There's no info on how long the controller will be discounted for.

The 8BitDo Ultimate 3-mode Controller for Xbox can be connected in three ways. It can be used as a wired controller with the Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One; as a Bluetooth controller with Android and Apple devices; and as a 2.4GHz wireless controller (with a 2.4GHz dongle) with a Windows PC. There's a switch at the back for selecting which mode to use.

The controller has Hall Effect joysticks, two pro back paddle buttons, a headphone jack, and a microphone mute button. It has a 500mAh battery that should provide up to 20 hours of gameplay on a single charge. The controller comes with a charging dock in the box.
