JLab has introduced two new products for its lineup. Among them is the JBuds Lux ANC Wireless Headphones. They are the brand’s first attempt at high-end headphones capable of providing premium sound without breaking your wallet. While we hear such claims from many brands, JLab’s new headphones do appear to have the potential to deliver.

We are just a few days away from CES 2024, but it seems that JLab just didn’t want to wait anymore. It has just announced two brand-new audio products. One of them is the JBuds Lux ANC Wireless Headphones. As the name kind of gives it way, with these cans, the brand wants to make its debut in the higher-end market.

But surprisingly, the price point of the JBuds Lux noise canceling headphones isn’t as “luxurious” as some of the other high-end options. JLab is selling the cans for just $80 on its official website. To compare, the Sony WH-1000XM5, a pair of well-regarded high-end headphones, is currently going for $348 on Amazon.

So, why is JLab calling the JBuds Lux ANC headphones high-end? It’s more because of the features and hardware the pairs pack. To illustrate, they come with 40 mm drivers that JLab says can produce high-fidelity sound with very low distortion. The company paired these drivers with “uncompromising noise cancellation” tech.

More specifically, JLab says that the JBuds Lux Bluetooth headphones can reduce noise by up to 25 dB. The new headset also offers the option to turn the ANC off, tune the cancellation intensity through the companion app, or switch to a transparency mode for better environmental awareness.

Besides, the JBuds Lux wireless headphones sport spatial audio support, LE audio capabilities, Bluetooth multipoint, and over 40 hours of runtime with the noise canceling turned on. JLab has also opted for a folding design for better portability and cushiony ear pads for comfortable listening.
