Is Lenovo's Yoga Pro 9i 16 G10 the best Windows multimedia laptop?

The current Yoga Pro 9i 16 G10 is Lenovo's high-end multimedia notebook and offers very good screens options in addition to a high-quality chassis, comfortable input devices and good performance. We have already reported about the new and excellent Tandem OLED screen. If we are looking at the GPU performance, however, the fastest option you can get is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop. While the performance is not bad, the limited amount of VRAM (8 GB) can be a potential issue. It can result in frame drops when you play demanding games in higher resolutions, for example, and it can also be an issue when you want to edit pictures or videos. 

Asus starts offering more powerful versions of the ProArt P16 with faster graphics cards and also an improved Tandem OLED panel. However, these configurations are very expensive. In a price range of around €3,000, Asus only offers the weaker OLED option, which cannot keep up with the 2.8K OLED screen of the Yoga Pro 9i 16. If you are looking for the maximum GPU performance and you also need much more VRAM (up to 24 GB) for picture/video editing, there is no Windows alternative for the new ProArt P16.

All in all, the Yoga Pro 9i 16 is a very good multimedia laptop, especially in a price range below €3,000. The Yoga is also a very good alternative to Apple's MacBook Pro 16, especially considering the price. And if you like to play, well then the Windows machine is still the superior option.
