Huawei P70-series micro-curved screen outed in new leak
The P70, P70 Pro and P70 Art is tipped to launch with one of Huawei's most distinctive smartphone camera humps to date. The module in question has allegedly popped up again in one of its latest leaks, as has the series' new "deep micro-curved" screen tech. It is touted to deliver exceptionally slim bezels and viewing angles to the upcoming flagship mobile devices.
The Huawei P70 series is projected to arrive with some of the most advanced rear cameras on the smartphone market, housed in one of the most unique rear panel inserts around. It has allegedly surfaced in a new in-the-wild leak ahead of its official reveal.
Digital Chat Station backs the P70 line-up have these "triangular" rear cameras across the board, although the one most recently photographed is thought to belong to the Pro variant, if not the P70 Art special edition. It is now believed to house a (possibly "enlarged") periscope zoom lens, a more "ordinary" ultrawide-angle shooter and a laser auto-focus sensor, all arranged around a large central variable aperture main camera with a round metallic mount-like accent.
The P70 series was once thought to offer a combination of flat and curved displays. However, a new screen protector leak pertains to the latter type only, suggesting that the 1.5K screen might have markedly minimal bezels thanks to "micro-curving" technology. Then again, these new borders, like those of the P60 Pro, still gets marginally thicker at the corners.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
