Huawei FreeBuds SE 4 launch as new affordable wireless earbuds with ANC and long battery life

Huawei has introduced new wireless earbuds, the FreeBuds SE 4. These are the first in the series to offer active noise cancellation, and as the company highlights, there are three different modes, with one offering a full-range cancellation depth of up to 24 dB.

The company also notes that the FreeBuds SE 4 can offer an airy-light fit, claiming that each bud only weighs 4.3 grams. These new affordable wireless earbuds are also said to feature an in-ear design that's based on over 10,000 ear canal data points, ensuring a comfortable fit.

Another notable highlight of the noise-cancelling earbuds is the rated battery life. Huawei claims that the total rated runtime is up to 50 hours with the charging case, while the buds themselves can deliver up to 10 hours of listening time with the ANC turned off.

Sound-wise, the Huawei FreeBuds 4 SE are said to deliver balanced sound across mids, highs, and lows. The company also notes that the audio is customizable, allowing users to select different presets or customize the EQ based on what they are listening to.

Huawei's FreeBuds SE 4 are said to offer a crystal-clear calling experience as well. Huawei says that the buds feature a three-microphone setup, which is paired with a noise suppression tech to effectively pick up the user's voice in challenging conditions.

Bluetooth 5.4, IP54 dust and water resistance, and a low-latency gaming mode are among the other highlights of the new affordable earbuds. As for the price, the FreeBuds 4 SE cost £59, around $80, in the UK, and Huawei is offering them in Black and White colorways.
