The Hisense PT1, a 4K UHD triple laser ultra short throw smart projector, is now available in the US. The model launched in June 2025, when it became available at a few retailers across Europe and in Australia. Since then, the model has been released more widely in these regions.
Hisense’s PT1 can deliver 4K images up to 150 inches wide, with a 0.2:1 ultra short throw ratio. According to the product listing, it has a 3,000:1 contrast ratio and 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut. There is support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG formats, as well as IMAX Enhanced, and it is a Pantone Validated model. The laser light source is said to generate up to 2,500 ANSI lumens brightness, which should mean you can use the projector in the day as well as at night.
The PT1 has built-in Google TV, which you can use to access many streaming platforms. It supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and can be remotely controlled via Google Assistant, Alexa or Apple Home. Gaming features include an up to 240 Hz refresh rate, MEMC, ALLM, and 12 ms input lag. Ports include two HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.0. Plus, there are 46W up-firing speakers, compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
