Garmin has released a new beta for the Venu X1. Arguably the company's most premium Venu smartwatch to date (curr. $799 on Amazon), the Venu X1 features a 2-inch AMOLED display with a 448 x 486 pixel resolution and a rectangular shape. Allegedly, the 40 g smartwatch is Garmin's thinnest smartwatch too at 7.9 mm. Meanwhile, Beta 12.61 is said to bring a new round of bug fixes and optimisations just weeks after Garmin introduced Beta 12.59 in late July.
In a forum post, the company states that Beta 12.63 addresses two notable issues. On the one hand, the update should resolve a bug that could cause rapid battery drain in some circumstances. On the other hand, Beta 12.63 should prevent invalid data from being displayed on the Altitude graph.
Moreover, Garmin speaks of including various minor bug fixes and general performance improvements, as well as updated Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) translations that have now reached v1.7. Garmin is only issuing Beta 12.63 for those who manually request it by navigating through the Main Menu, Settings, System and Software Update on their Venu X1 before tapping 'Check for Updates'.
