Samsung is expected to release its next-gen foldable devices in July. It is rumored that the tech giant will introduce three foldable phones: the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE.
A new report from tipster Max Jambor suggests that demo units of Samsung’s upcoming foldables are being prepared. The tipster claims that the demo units for Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE entered production on April 30.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to feature an 8.2-inch internal display and a 6.5-inch outer panel. It is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which also powers the Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $985 on Amazon). It may use a 200MP primary camera and a 4,400mAh battery capacity. Previously, an alleged real-life image of the Z Fold7 surfaced online, suggesting a design similar to last year's Z Fold6.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is said to be a more affordable version of the standard Flip7. It may resemble the last-generation Z Flip6. Tipster Max Jambor claims that the Z Flip7 FE weighs 187g, the same as the Z Flip6. It is rumored that the Flip7 and Flip7 FE will utilize the Exynos 2500 and Exynos 2400 processors, respectively. The Z Flip7 is also said to feature an edge-to-edge cover display, while Z Flip7 FE may stick to a smaller 3.4-inch cover display.
At the time of writing, Samsung has not confirmed any details regarding its upcoming foldable devices. The above information is based purely on leaks and hence should be taken with a grain of salt.
