Well, the Clevo P650SG is the bigger brother of the P650SE (review here). The specs are almost the same except the GTX 980M GPU. The case is a little bigger and can house two 9.5mm Sata devices vs 9.5mm + 7mm devices in the P650SE. Looks, weight, dimensions are generally the same. So is the cooling system, keyboard and touchpad quality, connection ports and speakers.

The Eurocom M5 Pro made quite a name for itself with almost no downsides other than its pricey configuration. We gave it high marks for its quality construction, pleasing design, productive keyboard and touchpad, excellent gaming performance, and effective cooling system. The 4K display on our review unit has good picture quality though the resolution is too high to play most modern games.

Well, few things.Let’s talk about the M5 as 970M machine and also if it’s a good deal for gamers. One. The M5 Pro is a good machine in my opinion, for gamers. You get the maximal performance of I7 and GTX 970M with a very good 1080p IPS display, good enough keyboard and nice looks.

Model: The Eurocom M5 Pro is a customisable high-end gaming laptop with a welcomed simplistic design. Several users are opting to use their gaming laptops for work purposes with its high performance capability and the discreet look aids in looking professional. The black chassis is solidly built with an aluminium frame and heavy duty ABS plastic while the Eurocom emblem is proudly displayed on the top cover. The 15.6 inch FHD display has a matte finish and performs splendidly with good contrast and brightness. The Keyboard is full sized and the touchpad supports multi-touch gestures. The operating system can range from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 depending on the user's choice.
Maxing out on specification, the Eurocom M5 Pro can be fitted with an Intel Core i7-4870HQ quad-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, up to 32 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 980M GPU with dedicated 4 GB VRAM. Thus unparalleled mobile computing power is almost guarantied regardless of the task at hand. Internal storage ranges from a plethora of combinations, the latest SSD technology to HDDs. Other features on the Eurocom M5 Pro are three USB 3.0 ports, a DisplayPort, a card reader, an optional Blu-ray drive and a fingerprint reader. The 4-cell Polymer battery is rated at 60 Wh.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M:
Second fastest high-end graphics card based on the Maxwell GM204 chip from the GeForce GTX 900M series.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
4710HQ: Haswell-based quad-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz with Turbo Boost support up to 3.5 GHz. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 4600 GPU and a dual channel DDR3 memory controller.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.2.6 kg:
With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.
Eurocom: Eurocom Corporation is a computer hardware manufacturing company founded in 1989 with offices in Canada and USA. Eurocom produces Desktop Replacement Notebooks and Mobile Workstations.
79%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
