Reviews for the Dell Inspiron 15-3531
Cutting corners. A new day, a new notebook with Bing Windows. This low-price model has no fan and offers good battery life. On the inside, not surprisingly, the laptop has an Intel Bay Trail CPU.

The Dell Inspiron 15 Non-Touch (3531) won't wow you with speedy performance and extra features, but it offers a durable, textured chassis and solid battery life and provides more than enough computing power for browsing the Web, emailing, and other light home-office duties. A higher-resolution screen would be nice, but at this price it's hard to complain, especially since the 1,366-by-768 panel offers good color quality and a sharp 720p image.

The average laptop these days still cost most people an arm and a leg. The Dell Inspiron 15-3531 might just be the right option for those who are looking to buy a great laptop at a reasonable price. The Dell Inspiron 15 comes with a solid aluminum chassis, which is great compared to the plastic chassis that is the more common choice for laptop manufacturers at this price range. It has a common 15.6 inch display, but it only features a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels instead of FHD (1080p). It is only 2.54 cm thick, which is a reasonable size in terms of portability.
In terms of hardware, the Dell Inspiron 15 features a Core i7 dual processor and a Radeon R7 M265 graphics card. Not exactly the best in the market, but having a dedicated graphics card definitely helps. The hardware is definitely adequate for web surfing and word processing, and it runs new games in low to medium graphic settings smoothly, but will have some trouble when it comes to some of the most demanding games. The battery life is also pretty decent and will usually last about 6 hours.
Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail):
Integrated GPU for tablet and notebook Bay Trail SoCs. Based on the Ivy Bridge GPU with four Execution Units and support for DirectX 11.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

71%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
