Casio has launched two new Edifice Sospensione watches in Japan: the ECB-2300YD-1A and the ECB-2300YDC-1A. The ECB-2300 model was rumored earlier in September 2025, when three variants were shown in leaked images.
Now, in product listings at its online store in Japan, Casio has confirmed the specifications of the new ECB-2300 watch. The ECB-2300YD-1A, previously referred to as the ECB-2300D-1A, has a black watch face with red accents and a silver colored stainless steel case and bracelet. The ECB-2300DC-1A also has a black dial but with blue accents and black-ion plated metal casing and strap. These watches measure 50.2 x 45.8 x 10.9 mm (~2.0 x 1.8 x 0.4 inches) and weigh 122 g (~4.3 oz) each.
As with other Edifice models, the ECB-2300 is inspired by formula cars. There are four pushrod-like buttons and a double wishbone suspension structure. These are Bluetooth watches, with various settings and tools available through the Casio Watches app. Plus, there is support for world time, functions like a stopwatch, timer and alarms, and Tough Solar charging.
It is unclear why the third rumored watch, the Casio Edifice ECB-2300D-2A, has not been launched at this time. Whether or when the Casio Edifice Sospensione ECB-2300YD-1A (ECB-2300D-1A) and ECB-2300YDC-1A (ECB-2300DC-1A) watches could be released in other markets is unclear.
