Some gamers may already be familiar with the brand Abxylute. The company is now offering a new gaming controller which is called the C5 Pro. This is a wireless gamepad that supports regular 2.4GHz connections, Bluetooth and USB. It's designed to be compatible with various platforms, including Windows PCs, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and devices running on iOS or Android.
The Abxylute C5 Pro's layout is reminiscent of Sony’s PlayStation controller, with both joysticks positioned at the same height. That being said, the budget controller appears a bit bulkier and sports a black and white design with stark contrasts. The cheap Hall effect controller has two additional buttons on the back, which are practical since they can be used without lifting one or both thumbs from the analog sticks.
Both joysticks utilize the Hall effect technology, which should ensure good durability and precise inputs without annoying stick drift. The Abxylute controller is further equipped with vibration motors, whose intensity is adjustable in fours levels and can be turned off entirely. A turbo button for arcade games is onboard, as is rather subtle RGB lighting. More importantly, the wallet-friendly gamepad has a battery life of up to 10 hours and needs 3 hours to recharge fully. The C5 Pro is now orderable directly from Abxylute for $26.99, thanks to a 10% launch discount that may or may not expire.
