AOOSTAR Pro 7 challenges Minisforum UM780 XTX with Oculink port
Tianbei, also known as AOOSTAR, has previewed the Pro 7 gaming mini PC. This compact PC is scheduled to debut on November 27 at a special event in China. And true to its “Pro” moniker, the mini PC features cutting-edge specifications.
To be specific, the AOOSTAR Pro 7 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS, the same APU as the one featured in the Minisforum UM780 XTX. Also, similar to the Minisforum gaming mini PC, the Pro 7 has an Oculink port, enabling external GPU support. And the UM780 XTX has already demonstrated outstanding performance in a recent test with Nvidia RTX 4090 (curr. US$2,099.99 on Amazon).
Besides, the Pro 7 comes with three NVME interfaces, offering high-speed storage solutions for smooth gaming performance.
Aside from featuring high-end specs, the AOOSTAR Pro 7 boasts a sleek metal body. As per the preview, its chassis measures 10 cm x 10 cm, which is reasonably compact for a system with such internals.
The other specs and pricing of the mini PC are still unknown. However, Tianbei confirmed it will launch seven other products alongside the AOOSTAR Pro 7. These include more mini computers, graphics cards, NAS solutions, and expansion docks.
