A new budget Samsung Galaxy Tab is on the horizon with Tab S7 Lite, Tab S7e and Tab S8e names touted
It has been almost a year since Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, its budget alternative to the Galaxy Tab S6. While we are yet to hear anything from Samsung about the release of a Lite version of the Galaxy Tab S7, SamMobile has discovered some tidbits that suggest new budget tablets from the South Korean company are on their way.
According to the website, Samsung has registered four model numbers, SM-T730, SM-T735, SM-T736B/SM-T736N. Apparently, these correlate to Wi-Fi only, LTE and 5G models, respectively. SamMobile also asserts that Samsung will release Plus or XL models of its next Lite tablets, as it has with the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus.
Details about the SM-T73x remain few and far between for the moment, though. SamMobile speculates that Samsung could call the new series the Tab S7e, Tab S7 Lite or event the Tab S8e. Marking a new generation of Galaxy Tabs with a budget entry would be unusual, so we imagine Samsung will stick with the S7e or S7 Lite instead.
