After applying the latest Wear OS update, those using compatible smart wearables will be able to manage the tiles from the connected smartphones, as well as from the smartwatches themselves. The list of tiles that can be added includes Google News Headlines, Google Fit Goals, Google Calendar Next event, and so on.

According to multiple reports that surfaced on Reddit over the last few days, Wear OS is receiving an update that comes with a Tile management tool which can be used on both the connected smartphone and the smartwatch itself. In addition to the ability to add and remove tiles, this new tool also allows its users to arrange tiles sequentially.

Obviously, managing tiles is far easier on a larger display, so Wear OS users should be happy with this new ability. The list of tiles to choose from is quite rich and includes Headlines for Google News, fitness Goals from Google Fit, Next event from Google Calendar, Timer from Clock, weather forecast, and so on.

For now, many users are still not seeing the Tiles functionality on their Wear OS smart wearables, so it looks like it might take a few weeks for some to enjoy the new Tiles manager. Google added Tiles to Wear OS over a month ago and, unfortunately, that update has been having a tough time finding its way to many compatible devices.
