Next to a new, smaller smartphone, Apple is expected to launch a new tablet this March. While nothing is official yet, various inside sources claim that both devices will be unveiled in mid-March. The tablet is expected to be known as iPad Air 3 while the handset should retail as iPhone 5SE.
The successor of Apple's 9.7-inch iPad Air 2 will allegedly have the same screen size, but might introduce a rear-facing LED flash for improved photo performance in low-light conditions. More than that, the iPad Air 3 is expected to pack additional speaker grills as well. Insiders also claim that a new 9.7-inch panel has been tested, and the new iPad might be compatible with the Apple Pencil.
The iPhone 5SE that should show up next to the new iPad is said to feature a faster A9 processor, more storage and updated cameras, as well as Apple Pay support. All these are still rumors, so take them with a grain of salt for the time being.
