Zotac's popular lineup of ZBox and Magnus mini PCs will be growing even larger come Computex 2017 where the manufacturer is set to show off a host of new models. Perhaps more notably, a handful of these SKUs will also be sporting AMD Ryzen CPUs in addition to the usual Intel variants. Key specifications are very short at the time of writing, but we can expect to hear more as we move closer to the event next week.
The first is the Magnus ER51060 and ER51070 with removable desktop GTX 1060 and 1070 Mini GPUs, respectively. The manufacturer has not yet specified the exact Ryzen CPU for these mini PCs other than the 65 W TDP, so we can at least deduce a CPU option from as low as the Ryzen 3 1100 up to the Ryzen 7 1700. Press images reveal a design not unlike the existing Magnus EN980 with its honeycomb top, 5x USB 3.0 ports, 2x Gigabit RJ-45, USB Type-C, SD reader, and at least five different video-out ports.
The second is the smaller Magnus MA551 with similar 65 W Ryzen processor options. Unlike the ER series above, however, the MA551 caters mainly to multimedia users and will include Thunderbolt 3 support. Ports include 4x USB ports, 1x USB Type-C, 3x video-out ports, SD reader, and Gigabit RJ-45.
As usual, we will update with full specifications, prices, and dimensions for these new releases when the official product pages come online.
