ZTE Star 3 smartphone may sport dual cameras

The ZTE Star and Star 2 may be getting an intriguing successor if the latest images from Chinese social network sources are to be believed.

The alleged pictures show a smartphone with a likely display size of 5.5-inches and two cameras on the back of the device. This may be a prototype at best or just a fake at worst as the image shows only a volume rocker with no 3.5 mm ports or USB interfaces. In fact, the smartphone appears to be lacking a Power button as well.

Otherwise, the two rear cameras seem to be identical in size with an LED Flash in between. This will likely allow for 3D effects and depth of field manipulations a la the Duo Camera on the HTC One M8.

Nonetheless, there may still be quite some time before ZTE officially announces the Star 3 as the manufacturer had just announced the Star 2 late last year. The Star 2 was recently showcased at MWC 2015 back in March.
