First photos of the new Moto X have supposedly surfaced
Though news of an upcoming Moto X refresh are weeks old, this weekend marks the first potential photo evidence of its existence.
The new Moto X is expected to come with an option to have a wooden back frame, similar to the first two Moto X generations. Other choices include leather, plastic, and even an unknown fourth option. The source also cites a 5.64-inch 1440 x 2560 resolution display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, and Android 5.1.1.
With no concrete evidence thus far, it is entirely possible that there may be two versions of the Moto X with different display sizes to mirror the success of the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. This second smaller model may be equipped with a 5.2-inch display.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
