Apparently, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer and network supplier ZTE is immediately preparing to launch another smartphone. At least for Japan, it is uncertain whether the device will also come to other countries.
The mid-range model with 5G support currently bears the cryptic name ZTE a1 ZTG01 (no model name) and, like the Axon 11 5G, calculates with a Snapdragon 765G. Registrations for the phone are already activated at the website of the Japanese provider "au". The smartphone is expected to launch around July 2020.
Even though the launch is still a few months away, the provider kindly donates a few render images and the specifications as well. Just like the Axon 11 5G, a quad-cam setup is arranged on the back. This consists of a 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP sensor (macro lens) and a ToF sensor.
Unlike the Axon 11 5G, the flash LED now sits on the right next to the cameras. A physical fingerprint sensor can now be seen in the center of the back, which, in the Axon 11 5G, is integrated in the display. The screen size is 6.5 inches, the resolution is 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. A selfie camera with 32 MP adorns the punch hole design on the front. A price is not yet shown.
