A reputable seller on eBay currently has the Samsung Galaxy Note 8—brand new, unlocked, 64 GB—on sale for a bargain price of US$790. Pretty great deal when you consider the fact that its rival, the iPhone X, goes for US$200 more.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is in contention for being the best smartphone in the world at the moment. Apple's iPhone X is another major contender but it's yet to find its footing in the market, with production issues marring its chances.

The Note 8 was launched a few months ago, with an unlocked version—the same on sale here—coming with a hefty price tag of US$929. A highly-rated seller on eBay, however, has the flagship on sale at the moment, and it ships for a bargain price of US$789.99. The Note 8 on sale is unlocked, with dual-SIM functionality, and  64 GB of storage. It is also incompatible with CDMA networks like Verizon and Sprint.

Meanwhile, you can also get Sony's last-gen flagship, the Xperia XZ for US$304.99 at the moment. We've had multiple deals for the Xperia XZ in the past few months but this is as low as it has dropped, with the listing on B&H showing a US$70 discount off its original price.
