The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite is a great smartphone which few will buy. Even if it were cheaper, the Redmi series would have still been the better choice. We think Xiaomi has gone too far with its Mi 9 series saturation and the Mi 9 Lite will be the first, and we hope the last, to fall into the oblivion because of that. But if you happen to be among those few that discover enough reasons to buy a Lite - we're sure it won't disappoint you for a second.

Model: The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite is a smartphone with a light, slim body coupled with style and long-lasting battery time. The 32 MP selfie and 48 MP AI triple camera are also the highlights of the smartphone. The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite has the same display as the Mi 9. Its 6.39-inch Samsung AMOLED display with VDE Blue-Light protection is certified from Germany. The Samsung AMOLED display contains a wide range of colors with up to 60,000:1 contrast. It supports smart environment adaptation, intelligently adjusting the display according to the surroundings to give a more natural viewing experience. Besides that, it also has an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It features a 48 MP ultra high definition camera. The camera ensures that each detail is perfectly preserved and presented. The 118° (before distortion correction) ultra wide-angle camera makes pictures even wider. Also, the depth sensor highlights the subject and blurs the background, making it the focal point of every photo. A heightened-sensitivity light sensor, combined with advanced image processor and optimized multi-frame noise reduction algorithms, allows users to capture outstanding night scenes without a tripod. The flagship 32 MP Selfie Camera features ultra-high 6,560 × 4,928 pixels resolution for exceptional definition right down to the last eyelash and hair. It can capture clear and natural selfies. Users can also touch up, edit and crop later with ease to preserve better-quality pictures. The AI Portrait Mode allows users to take the most beautiful selfies as the focus by blurring the messy background. With various themed filters, users can get stylish selfies easily with just one click.

For hardware specifications, it has dual accelerated octa-core performance. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 with dual turbo boost, 6 GB LPDDR4x 2,133 MHz dual channel RAM, 128 GB UFS2.1 storage, and an Adreno 640 graphics processor. These specifications are sufficient for optimum gaming and everyday use. Users can choose between Pearl White, Aurora Blue, and Onyx Grey for color options. Besides that, it also has a Xiaomi logo with pause light. When a user is charging, calling or listening to music, the pause light will light up with different colors. Powering the smartphone is a large 4,030 mAh battery, which is sufficient for up to 2 days of normal usage. 18 W fast charging can quickly restore the battery to full power. As a conclusion, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite is a decent budget smartphone with great camera and hardware specifications. With big screen, decent hardware, great camera and good looking appearance, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite checks a lot of boxes for users who are looking for a budget smartphone.
