Subsequently, the company has outlined how the new telephoto camera in the Xiaomi 13 Pro works, which it describes as featuring a ‘floating lens’. With a motor used to obtain focus, the lens elements can adjust to capture objects as little as 10 cm away from the lens or into the distance with 3x optical zoom. Purportedly, Leica has had a hand in developing the camera solution rather than just lending its expertise to improving the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s camera software. Meanwhile, a video allegedly showing a Xiaomi 13 Pro retail unit has surfaced on Weibo. In short, there are a few differences between the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, with the latter offering a larger battery, higher quality display and faster charging capabilities than the former.
