Wuben G5: Compact EDC flashlight comes in signal color

Wuben has introduced the compact G5 in a new color to mark a major sales milestone. Until now, the flashlight was mostly available in subtle colors. The white model stood out a little more, but anyone who drops the flashlight in the snow would still have trouble finding it.
To mark one million units sold, Wuben has now opted for a bright signal color for the first time. It is not the typical and proven outdoor orange, but the yellow version that has now been introduced should stand out in many situations and, above all, be easy to find again.
Technically, nothing has changed. It still has a maximum runtime of 65 hours at the lowest settings and can output up to 400 lumens, which is said to be enough for a range of 269 feet. It also remains very light, weighing 1.8 oz. Thanks to the rotating head, the flashlight can be used flexibly. There is also an RGB signal light and a magnetic mount. This should also make the flashlight quite useful for tinkering inside a PC case.
The flashlight is not yet listed in all of Wuben's regional online stores, but that should only be a matter of time, since the announcement applies to all markets. In the US, the flashlight is expected to cost around $25 before taxes. That is slightly more expensive than the standard green and black colors, which are currently being sold for $20. The other colors are more expensive than the new yellow variant, however, and usually cost around $30.
