The BBK Electronics subsidiary Realme unveiled UltraDart technology with a ground-breaking 200W charging rate for mobile devices in 2022. However, it might not have those bragging rights to itself for long, as one of its sister brands is now linked to the same.
According to the well-known and reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, Vivo will launch its own "20V/10A" (or 200W) product soon. However, it may not be an upcoming smartphone so much as the new power brick that ships with it.
The accessory is tipped to have been designed to work with existing devices such as the iQOO 9 Pro or X80 Pro, as well as older or lower-end devices such as the S15e.
That does seem to line up with the first-gen iteration of UltraDart, which supports 160W at most, even though its compatible smartphone the GT Neo 3 has 80W to 150W variants. On the other hand, Vivo has also been connected to the interim spec of 100W, and has yet to produce a smartphone with that exact charging rate.
