Edge-less. The affordable mid-range model Mars by the Chinese manufacturer Vernee is furnished with a virtually edge-less design besides a very good configuration for the price range. According to the manufacturer, the lateral edges are just 1 millimeter in width. Find out in the report how the smartphone fares compared with the strong competition.

Vernee Mars Pro
There is a high competition in smartphone market. We see lots of new models coming out each day and all have different characteristics. Each models has its own pros and cons. The Vernee Mars Pro is no different. Being a budget phone, it comes with 6 GB of RAM. Compared to other smartphones, this is a lot. What makes the Vernee Mars Pro different from the competition is its price tag. It is a budget phone and starts from 159€. It has a side finger print scanner. Some Sony models have this feature, so it is not new. It works well, but sometimes it is possible to experience delays when unlocking the screen. The display brightness is average, but it features a Full HD resolution. When you look for reviews online, some users complain that screen gestures are not functioning properly. Meaning, you need to make straight lines while doing some gestures on the screen, especially when playing games. But performance wise, you will not get any issues. Being powered with MediaTek Helio P25 SoC and 6 GB RAM, you definitely won’t have any issues in regards to performance. The Vernee Mars Pro has two cameras. Front camera is 5 MP and rear camera is 13 MP. According to the specification both cameras can shoot HD videos, but going through reviews/comments online you might see that some users complain that the front camera can not shoot HD videos. The front camera does its job, but compared to high end models from Xiaomi, Huawei etc. its quality is subpar. But you need to keep in mind that the Mars Pro is a mid-range budget phone and none of the other manufacturers provides such a specification in this price range. The 3500 mAh battery provides a long usage. Some users claim that you can forget to charge your device for 2-3 days. But if you are an active user, expect the battery to last for 7 to 8 hours, which is normal. So should you be buying this smartphone? If you are tight on budget and looking for a performance phone: yes, you should. But if you are someone that likes to take photos, especially at night, you might be disappointed. Other than that sound output is also reported to be mediocre for both speakers and headphones. Some software bugs are present and during day to day usage some glitches happen. But since they are all related to software, a future update can solve these issues. Overall, for this price tag, you get a good looking slim smartphone with a good amount of RAM and storage. Even if the device does not meet your requirements, it can be a good present for your elders or younglings. Hands-on article by Ümit Yılmaz GüneşSpecifications

76.74%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
