Up to 40% water savings: Improved smart irrigation Aiper IrriSense 2 now available
At CES 2026 earlier this year, Aiper announced the IrriSense 2 alongside new pool robots. Now, the Aiper IrriSense 2 is now officially available for order directly from the manufacturer or via Amazon for $499.99.
The new model is the successor to the IrriSense, which was launched last year. Our review of the first model revealed promising features, but also areas for improvement. Aiper has now addressed some of these in the second generation.
The IrriSense 2 now allows for the individual setup and control of up to ten irrigation zones, which enables the creation of areas with varying watering depths, frequencies, and schedules to address the different water needs of various areas in the garden and their plants.
Setup and control are still managed via the app. In addition to schedules, live overviews of water consumption and analyses of the different zones, the app also features the Weather-Sense Response System, which automatically incorporates weather data to adjust irrigation plans.
The smart irrigation solution's ability to water areas up to 445 square meters remains unchanged. Sufficient water pressure is still required. The Aiper IrriSense 2 simulates natural rainfall to improve water absorption in the soil and prevent dry patches. According to the manufacturer, this can result in water savings of up to 40% compared to traditional irrigation systems.
