The Galaxy A8 is going to be the thinnest smartphone ever made by Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy A8 still has not been officially presented but we do know quite a lot about the coming handset already. Now, the most important thing about it is the unusual thinness of just 5.9 mm, which will make it the thinnest smartphone ever manufactured by Samsung. The design itself resembles the current flagship, Galaxy S6, as you can see in the video below.

Specs-wise, the SM-A800 is a typical „upper middle class” representative. As the leaks suggest, it’s going to come with a Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2 gigabytes of RAM, a 5.7-inch FullHD Super AMOLED display and 16 GB of built-in storage space. The main camera will use a 16 MP sensor, while the secondary snapper on the front will allow users to shoot 5 MP selfies. Apart from that, the Galaxy A8 will get a 3050 mAh battery and a fingferprint scanner for authentication.

It is still unclear when the A8 will officially come to life. Leaks suggest it might be presented in mid-July, but we’ll probably have to wait a bit longer for the actual launch.
