Two massive LEGO Icons sets from LOTR and Dune just leaked

Brick Tap, who is a generally reliable LEGO leaker operating via verified anonymous sources, has surfaced details on two upcoming Icons sets — one from Middle-earth, one from Arrakis — both reportedly targeting a January 1, 2027 release.
Lord of the Rings: Oliphaunt (11395)
The bigger of the two reveals is set 11395, a diorama-style build centred on the Mûmak — the enormous war elephant deployed by Haradrim forces in The Return of the King. At 2,017 pieces, it lands at an interesting number: that's exactly the same piece count as The Shire (10354), which launched in 2025 at €269.99. No price has been confirmed for the Oliphaunt, but given the size and license, a similar figure seems quite reasonable. Minifigures are confirmed to be included, though exact character details are still unknown. LEGO's ongoing Lord of the Rings line has been growing steadily since its 2023 revival, with Barad-dûr, the Balrog Book Nook, and a Sauron set already released or revealed — the Oliphaunt would add one of the films' most visually strong set pieces to the collection.
Dune: Sandworm (11392)
Set 11392 brings the Sandworm to brick form at 1,837 pieces and a confirmed $140 price point. That's somewhat cheaper than the existing Dune Ornithopter (10327), which launched at $165 for 1,369 pieces — meaning the Sandworm will get you more pieces per dollar by a significant margin. Given that Dune: Part Three is still in active development, the timing should line up well commercially for LEGO.
Both leaks come via Brick Tap's verified anonymous sources. LEGO has not confirmed either set.
