Though Windows 10 is just a few weeks away, Toshiba has announced a couple of new convertible notebooks to ship with Windows 8.1.
First up is the new Satellite Radius, which is similar in concept to the 360-degree hinges of the Lenovo Yoga. Configurations will be available in 14-inch and 15.6-inch screen sizes, though the 15.6-inch model is notable for its optional 4K display.
Next, the Satellite Fusion series is a lower-cost solution to the above Satellite Radius. It includes the same 36-degree hinge concept, though the 15.6-inch configuration is limited to 1080p only.
The Satellite Radius 14 and 15 will be available starting today in the U.S. for $584 and $842, respectively. The Satellite Fusion will also be available starting at $649. Toshiba promises that these models are optimized for Windows 10 despite shipping first with Windows 8.1. See here to check out our review on the previous Satellite Radius model.
