Titan Quest II has reportedly sold over 300,000 units in less than three days since its Early Access debut on August 1, 2025. Publisher THQ Nordic broke the news on their official X account:
“The plains of Hellas are trembling, and Mount Olympus echoes with the footsteps of over 300,000 champions! We salute you, warriors, and thank you for over 300,000 copies sold in less than 72 hours!”
THQ Nordic’s sequel to the cult classic 2006 action RPG is available on the Epic Games Store and Steam. According to SteamDB, the game currently stands tall with a “Very Positive” user score. To be specific, 84.45% of the 6,124 user reviews are positive. The game has attracted an all-time peak of 27,099 concurrent players on Steam and a 24-hour peak of 17,204 users.
According to Grimlore Games, Titan Quest II’s current Early Access version offers 15 hours of in-game content with a full release planned for late 2026. The game launched in Early Access for $29.99. Currently, players can enjoy a handcrafted campaign, battles against gryphons and cyclops, along with dual mastery character customization.
Grimlore Games has made the deal even sweeter with a 20% percent discount, which brings the price down to $23.99 for gamers till August 8. However, once the game goes gold and is patched to version 1.0, the price will be bumped back up to its originally stated $49.99.
In addition to the already available content, Grimlore plans to add new masteries, content quests, and quality-of-life updates to further the game's longevity and retain its current player base. Each major update featuring new content will be launched every three months.
For now, smaller updates such as balancing, bug fixes are slated to arrive every month or so, with the occasional skip if no major issues are found. Furthermore, Grimlore will add additional language translations in the future, as the only supported language for now is English.
Titan Quest II offers a streamlined ARPG, which steps away from microtransactions and complicated skill trees seen in titles like Path of Exile 2 and Diablo 4, allowing characters to mix and match two masteries to create unique classes. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 with some crisp visuals, though some players have reported stuttering issues and frame drops, which are expected to be addressed in future patches.
Titan Quest II is expected to release in late 2026 with co-op multiplayer on the Xbox Series S|X, PS5, and PC.
