Deal | This $30 Casio watch with 10-year battery life gets a huge discount — now cheaper than an F-91W

A Casio watch with a world map, dual time and a rotating bezel-style display is now cheaper on Walmart than the F-91W (curr. $25 on Amazon), which is the brand's own entry-level standard.
As of writing, the Casio AE1200WH-1A (popularly referred to as the Casio Royale) is listed at $19.99, down from $29.95. On the same retailer, Casio's F-91W-1 currently sells for $23 through a marketplace seller, with other listings on the page reaching $24.50. The AE1200WH-1A basically undercuts all of them despite offering considerably more features.
Where the F-91W has a single time display and a basic backlight, the AE1200WH-1A adds an analog-style world map graphic showing 31 time zones and 48 cities, daylight saving toggling, and home/world city swapping. It also runs a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five alarms plus an hourly signal, and an LED backlight with afterglow.
Construction is an upgrade as well. The case and bezel are resin, and it's reinforced with a stainless steel back, rated to 100 m against the F-91W's 30 m splash resistance. Casio quotes a 10-year battery life on both.
The AE1200WH-1A carries a 4.6-star rating across 311 reviews and is marked a Walmart best seller. It has very solid ratings on Amazon as well, where it is listed across multiple variants in different colorways and both strap/bracelet options.
At a price of $19.99, the calculation for anyone shopping either watch is pretty simple: more features, better water resistance, and a lower price than Casio's most famous budget model. You can check out the Walmart listing for the Casio AE1200WH-1A here.
