Update: The Moto G Stylus has just popped up in another new leak: a video this time. This clip, presented as authentic marketing material by the leaker Evan Blass, seems to confirm the design hinted at in the putative phone's earlier renders, although it is allegedly shown in its bluish black colorway rather than the newer one covered below.
Should this new video prove genuine, it also reveals that Motorola backs its next-gen Moto G Stylus as an effective machine for photography (thanks to its 50MP main camera) as well as drawing. The user may be able to do so for up to 2 days between charges, according to the new leak. It fails to specify when the alleged G Stylus (2022) might actually launch, however.
Original Article: The Moto G Stylus has become Motorola's alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Notes of this world, albeit at a more affordable price-point. Nevertheless, the line's devices have their own on-board pen, and typically ship with the large enough displays necessary to accommodate it. Its allegedly upcoming 2022 update offers more of the same, as indicated in a new leak.
This one consists of an all-angles render of the putative G Stylus (2022). In truth, it does not deviate hugely from the video posted earlier by OnLeaks, although it might thus serve to confirm the phone's design and selection of ports.
Accordingly, the new image depicts a phone not all that different from the previous G Stylus or its 5G counterpart, albeit one in which the punch-hole selfie camera has moved to a central location in the display and with an updated, slimmer rear camera module.
The render also suggests that the G Stylus' eponymous feature is tucked into the lower right corner of its frame next to its bottom-firing speaker. A USB type-C port takes the midline here, to the left of which is the rumored headphone jack. Then again, this putative next generation stands out with a series-first color-change.
It is an unusual gold-ish bronze, much like that seen in the Moto E40. Otherwise, the G Stylus 2022 - said to have the code-name milan - is now slated for a Snapdragon 480+ processor rather than the MediaTek Helio G85 suggested earlier. Should this be the case, it would represent an intuitive graduation from the G Stylus 5G of 2021.
